"Purple Over Bear"
Bear Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park
I had just given up on shooting sunset at Bear Lake amongst the aspen and was making my way back down to the lake. When I was about half way down, the sky began to turn brilliant shades of red and purple. I scrambled up to the top of a large boulder and tried to find the best composition I could to capture something of this amazing light which happened about 15 minutes after sunset.
