This was an unusual August morning. We had just had several days of cold and rain which turned into snow at the higher elevations. This morning I arrived well before sunrise and 30 minutes before dawn the peaks began to glow with in-direct pre-dawn light. This was complimented by a full moon shining its very different light from the other side, creating a most unusual set of colors and lighting. The photo barely does the actual scene justice as the mountain literally glowed in this early morning light. It was a very special morning! |
