"Moss Cave Cascade"

Bluebird Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park

While hiking from Bluebird Lake up to Junco Lake I came across areas where the streams had created tunnels under the thick moss. Here a stream exits a dark moss cave surrounded by bluebells and cascades down the rocks. For some reason, perhaps the way the moss hangs over the small tunnel, it reminds me of something a hobbit might see on one of his adventures. Perhaps I've been watching too many LOTR movies! :-)
