This shot was taken at sunrise on Lion Lake 1. This is one of the more remote regions of the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park. My large format camera was setup on the left side of the lakc and as I waited for the sun to light up the mountains I took a little stroll to this side and found this spectacular view of Mount Copeland. As my tripod was occupied I had to find a large boulder to balance my camera on to capture this. |
