"July with Julian"

There is something about these vast tundra views that fills me with excitement and takes my breath away. As a child I used to draw pictures with blue skies, snow covered peaks, green fields and alpine lakes with a stream leading to the mountain. Perhaps these scenes remind me of my childhood view of the mountains or maybe these views speak to me on an even deeper level, causing me to feel very alive and in awe of this wonderful world in which we live. 

The mountain in the distance is Mount Julian which stands above the Gorge Lakes area, between me and the peak is the area known as Forest Canyon.
