"Hallett's Hat"

The sky was mostly clear this autumn morning apart from a few clouds which clung tightly to the summit of Hallett's Peak and Otis so I set out to find a good place from which to capture this for sunrise. It was cold and windy outside and I began to get worried that the sun wouldn't find a way through the clouds on the eastern horizon, but then about 10 minutes after sunrise the warm morning light broke through and provided a beautiful scene.
