It was my birthday and what I wanted most was to begin the day with a spectacular sunrise over the national park. What better way could there be to start a new year? On this occasion it actually happened. Beautiful clouds lit up like pink cotton candy adding warmth to the land below. Longs Peak watched this unfold as Forest Canyon begain to awake to the sight of a beautiful new day. This is one of those moments that is far too rare, but one I will cherrish for years. |
