I was at home playing with my son on this evening when my wife came in with the dog and told me that it was pretty amazing outside. I grabbed my gear and ran out the door. After a quick look I determined that conditions would be best at Bear Lake so I flew up there as fast as I could. I jumped out of the car and ran around the lake, setting up my tripod as I ran. I reached the location and quickly took this shot. I then took another couple just before the sun's last rays vanished. Oh, if I had been here 5 minutes earlier! The lake was completely calm, there were clouds drifting in and out of the mountains and everything was covered in a layer of fresh snow. Beautiful! |
