I consider beautiful Mills Lake to be my nemesis. It is so attractive to the eye and yet so difficult to photograph. The main reason for this is because it lies along a north-south axis and the sun rises and sets on an east-west axis. As a result, it does not receive the warm evening or morning light and can really only be shot in the middle of the day which doesn't make for a very nice image. Hopefully one day I will have weather conditions which will allow me to capture this lake in all of its glory.
