RMNP Locations: Longs Peak Area: Longs Peak

Longs Peak is the highest mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park, towering over Colorado's Front Range. At 14,259 feet above sea level it is a mountain of some significance giving it a place among Colorado's fourteeners. Each summer it draws thousands to conquer its lofty height. Apart from being simply a tall mountain, it is also a very beautiful mountain with many different faces. Looking at it from the east and then from the west you would think you were looking at two different mountains. Each angle provides a very different feel to this peak and provides a great deal of photographic opportunity. This is probably the largest collection of photos of Longs Peak to be found anywhere.
