The west side of RMNP receives far fewer visitors than the more popular east side. One of the most impressive trails on the west side is the East Inlet Trail and few visitors travel beyond the first mile and so barely scratch the surface of this impressive area. This is actually my favorite area of Rocky Mountain National Park. To reach the best areas requires quite a long hike as the best views are between Verna and Fifth Lake.
