East Entrance

The majority of visitors to Rocky Mountain National Park access it via the East Entrance at the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station.  Upper Beaver Meadows, Moraine Park, Horseshoe Park, and the Alluvial Fan are some of the main attractions quickly accessible from here.  Viewing the Mummy Range from Horseshoe Park on a calm summer morning, marveling at Longs Peak from Upper Beaver Meadows, or spending an evening in Moraine Park watching the bugling elk during the rut are just a few of the possibilities open to those who want to be immersed in the beauty of this national treasure.
