RMNP Locations: Central Rocky

Adventurers who travel to the top of the Continental Divide in search of the summits there quickly discover that the world of Rocky Mountain National Park is far grander than they had imagined.  Most who visit RMNP stick to the well-known trails on the east and west side of the Park, and even those who venture to the peaks of the divide often do not look too far beyond their intended destinations.  Yet the wonders that lie hidden just a little further afield are magical meadows and valleys, lonesome, lush, and wild.  Have you ever walked the Bighorn Flats in autumn when the tundra flames into brilliant color?  Or sat on the edge of the cliffs near Snowdrift Peak and gazed upon the grandeur below?  Few have, but the few that have have been blessed with visions of supreme loveliness.
